Recycling
Churchill Township partners with the City of West Branch in the recycling program.
The Recycling center is located in the City of West Branch behind the Save-A- Lot store.
You can obtain a Recycling card at the City Hall. ( Cards are helpful but Not mandatory).
This center is open 24 hours a day but they have workers to help on you on
Tuesday from Noon to 4 PM
Saturday from 9 am to Noon Weather permitting!
Hall Rental Information
To rent the township hall you will need to contact Kimberly Peterson at 989-312-0509
Rental without alcohol is $25 with a $50 deposit (Residential Rate)
Rental without alcohol is $50 with a $75 deposit (Non-Residential Rate)
Any alcohol events you will also need to provide your own constable.
Please contact Kim Peterson for more information & contracts.
The Township Hall has a pavilion that you can use along with the Hall rental.
Elections
2025 Elections
The elections for the 2025 Year are: May 6, 2025 School Election

All elections but the "May Election" will have the 9 days of Early Voting that will be held at the Ogemaw County Building. Early Voting Hours will be 8:30 Am to 4:30 Pm.
On Election Day the voting will only be held at the Township Hall ---(not at the County).
The Hall is located at 1308 E. State Rd.
Election Hours will be 7 Am to 8 Pm.
You can still have the opportunity to Vote by Mail - by an Absent Voting Ballot.
To obtain a ballot by mail you will need to sign an application. Once I have the signed application and the ballots arrive, I will then mail one to the Voter that made the request.
For residents voting by Absent Voting Ballot you have the choice of returning the ballot by: 1) US mail,
2) You can place the Ballot in the Secure Election Drop Box located at my
home 2211 Rifle River Trail .
3) You can bring your Ballot to the Township Hall on election day- have the
Election Workers check you in on the laptop -then place the Ballot in the
tabular yourself.
